Glenn Timpe Will be missed

I have received a message from NOLA that another friend, Glenn Timpe has passed away this week. He and his life partner owned the "Hairy Dog" at the corner of Burgundy and Toulouse in the late 80's He had also worked for a number of years at various bars on Rampart St.

He was employed in the office supply business for he last several years.

He will be missed by friends and family as a loving and kind person who always had something nice to say about everyone.

My friend, Dr. Bill Rueff

Dr. Bill Rueff, my close friend and buddy from New Orleans, passed away on Thursday afternoon from complications following Liver Cancer Surgery.

He will be remembered as a loving and kind person, who was always helpful to others.

He lived at 940 Port St at the corner of N. Rampart. His house was badly damaged during Hurricane Katrina. Repairs had been going on for over 2 years and the second floor apartment had been finished and rented. Dr Bill's new apartment downstairs was undergoing repair/construction at the time he entered the hospital and was finished in the last week, so he could come home to enjoy it. Sadly, he will never see or live in the newly finished quarters.

We will miss him.
